I was lucky enough to attend the Provo Craft Gala tonight after the CHA show. It was a great party!
They had an old fashioned cake walk. The grand prize winner gets to travel to PC with 4 friends for a personal demo of the Cake machine. The runner-up received a $500 gift card from Williams-Sonoma and a $500 Visa gift card. The third place winner received $250 on Circut.com!
But, everyone who attended turned out to be BIG winners. We all received a Cricut CAKE!!!
I'm beyond excited! I'm not sure how soon I will receive my machine, but I plan to try and figure out the Flip video recorder and post demos on my blog.
Jim, Provo Craft CEO, gave an awesome speech! There are big things coming for PC. He mentioned 3 new versions of the Expression.... THIS YEAR ALONE! (I'm so excited!)
There are so many great things coming for the Cuttlebug! The new folders are fantastic and offer so many new options. They take Nestabilities to the next level!!!
There was just so much to see and absorb. I really wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow. I am suppose t attend CHA again on Tuesday wth my Boss, but our company interest is outside of the scrapbooking area so not sure I will get to go back there.

Hey. So cool you got one for free...my mom is Linda Mcclure, the one who invented this idea. She's been doing it since 2008 and loves it. For those of you not lucky enough to get one for free or not wanting to spend $400 on one, go here to see how she does it: http://creativedesignscakes.com/
She's made DVD's on her idea, which are for sale here as well :)
Buying her DVD is kind of like getting a help line, too. She has people who have bought it call her all the time to ask questions, run an idea by her, etc.
I am so excited for you!! I expect to get a cake in the mail soon! LOL
Hey Amy, Thank you so much for inviting me to go with you to CHA. I'm so excited about all the new product that we saw, especially the motocross and four wheeling papers. And what can I say about the provo craft party on Sunday but Awesome. So happy beyond words about getting a Cricut Cake. I want to play with it now. We should have a "Cake" party when they come in. BTW where are the pics you took of the cakes from Sundays party. I want to look at the safari cake again. Joey might just have to have another party!!
